DampApp Pro lets the client, tenant, landlord or site contact sign on your device at the end of the visit, confirming you attended and had access. Their signature prints in the report just before yours.
A record of the visit, signed on the day
Turn on Client Sign-Off in Settings and it joins the survey just before your Final Sign-Off. Pick who is signing, read the wording to them, and hand over the device. The signature saves with the date and time. If nobody can sign, record why, and the report says so.

Frequently asked questions
Who can sign?
The client, tenant, landlord or site contact, or anyone else you name, such as a managing agent. You pick who is signing each time, and Settings sets who usually signs.
What are they signing?
A short statement you control. The standard wording confirms that you attended and that they gave access, and says that signing does not mean they agree with the findings. Smart Build puts other clauses together, such as areas not reached or agreeing to photos, and the words they sign under stay with the survey.
Where does it appear in the report?
Just before your own sign-off, under a heading such as Tenant Sign-Off, with the wording, their signature, their name and role, and the date and time they signed. It shows on the report screen and in the PDF.
What if they are not there or will not sign?
Mark it as not present or declined to sign, with an optional note. The report says so instead of showing a signature.
Is it included in the free app?
Yes. Client sign-off is free, and it is off until you turn it on in Settings. Teams using DampApp Pro for Business can switch it on and set the wording for every device from the portal.
Is it a legal electronic signature service?
No. It records a handwritten signature on your device as part of the survey record. It is not identity verification, and you remain responsible for the wording you ask people to sign.
